Pagani Introduces the Chinese Inspired Huayra Dinastia

Horacio Pagani, the owner of Pagani, is an artist and also a car builder. He has recently visited the Forbidden City in China and was inspired by its mystical dragons. Upon returning home, he drew what would be the design for a limited edition Huayra called the Dinastia.

The Pagani Huayra Dinastia is a very limited edition supercar.

At the heart of this mythical supercar is a fire-breathing 6.0 litre turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V12 capable of producing 700bhp and 738 lb-ft of torque. It can reach speeds in excess of 230 mph and accelerate to 62 mph from a standstill in under 3.5seconds. The mighty engine is paired with a seven-speed sequential transmission and all that power is channelled to the rear wheels. These are “standard” Huayra specifications.

While the engine may be the usual Huayra fare, the design is definitely not. The design of the Dinastia is inspired by the Nine Dragons Wall in the Forbidden City. Horacio Pagani drew the graphic designs of dancing dragons running down the sides of a Huayra.

The Huayra Dinastia has custom carbon bodywork. Along with the bodywork, the Dinastia has extended front splitters, a custom rear diffuser and side skirts. The rear fin has a dragon emblem graphic on it to identify it as a Dinastia. The interior is wrapped in cool turquoise blue leather with black Alcantara mixed in with all the carbon fibre bits.

The Pagani Huayra Dinastia has a very limited run of just 4 cars.

The original 3, announced in 2014, were the blue carbon, red carbon and gold carbon coloured Dinastia. The company has recently decided to make the fourth one a purple carbon coloured Dinastia. So how much is the cost of this limited edition supercar? The Dinastia costs somewhere between the €1,200,000 standard Huayra and the €2,300,000 of the hardcore Huayra BC.

The Huayra Dinastia was made to celebrate the launch of Pagani’s China dealership.
